Live Music Event - ALULA DOWN

This event is part of Sharmanka's programme of live performances by local and international musicians, artists and performers.Alula Down bring their unique blend of improvisation, collage, drone, field recording, sparsity - silence - fragility, noise, dialogue and textured soundscape to Sharmanka for Mays music event - all of which is sure to shine amidst Eduard Bersudskys marvellous mechanical sculptures.
The duo comprised of Kate Gathercole & Mark Waters often explore folk song, where many traditional and vernacular forms illuminate dispossession and inequality. Part of The Weirdshire Society, Kate and Mark support local shows featuring folk, left-field and experimental live music, contributing to the DIY music ecosystem.
