This documentary is about, on one hand, the student protests in India that oppose the rise of nationalism in educational institutions, and, on the other, class/caste division and the personal drama of two students. Epistolary and political, poetic and truthful, A night of knowing nothing at once displays public violence in parallel to intimate letter reading, fascist politics in parallel to archival footage.
