Workshop: Themes & Tools

This short composition workshop will focus on the relationship between the subject of a piece and its possible materials. We will explore an approach in which the horizon of a work becomes in itself a source for these materials. By taking a banal starting point (a pen, a pair of socks, anything) as a subject, articulating its relational fields (interactive, physical, political, sensual...) and reducing these to their essential elements, we will attempt to create original compositions, taking inspiration from musical strategies.

The workshop is free and open to all.
